Our Story
It all started when…
Back in 2001, Matt Lark — an Indianapolis attorney with a love for farming — began welcoming local schools to his farm for educational field trips. After seeing how much the students and community enjoyed the experience, he carved a corn maze, planted a pumpkin patch, and opened the farm to the public.
With the help of his three sons, Kyle, Adam, and Eric, Lark Ranch continued to grow year after year. What started with a corn maze and pumpkin patch has now grown into three locations across Indiana, with mile-long train rides, amusement rides, farm animals, seasonal food, and attractions for the whole family.
Today, Lark Ranch is still family-owned and operated, with three generations of the Lark family helping carry on what Matt started more than 25 years ago. A lot has changed since those early days, but the goal has stayed the same — creating the Ultimate Fall Experience for families across Indiana.
